Confirm installation clearance
Before installing the radar, you need to test the installation gap between the antenna and the housing. When the housing is too close to the antenna, the radar reception will be saturated. However, the installation gap between different materials, different thicknesses, and different shapes of the housing and the radar antenna will be different.
Installation environment requirements
This product needs to be operated in a suitable installation environment. If it is operated in the following environment, the test results will be disturbed:
· There are continuously moving non-human objects in the sensing area, such as animals, continuously swinging curtains, large green plants facing the air outlet, etc.;
· There is a large area of strong reflectors in the sensing area, and the strong reflectors directly facing the radar antenna will cause interference.
Precautions during installation
· During installation, ensure that the installation position of the sensor is firm and stable. The shaking of the radar itself will have a great impact on signal processing.
· When installing, make sure that there is no movement or vibration on the back of the radar. Due to the penetrating nature of radar radio frequency waves, the signal on the back of the antenna will also pass through the radar board. If there is an object moving on the back, it will also be collected by the antenna, which will affect the judgment effect. A radome or backplane can be used to reduce the impact of objects on the back of the radar.
· When installing, try to ensure that the radar antenna is facing the area to be detected, and the antenna is open and unobstructed.
